Abby came to us in March 2025. She was Goldie's daughter and having the chance to help another horse and it be her daughter, made rescuing her very special. She is also Trigger's half sister. Abby is a pony but a stocking one and she has spunk, a little sass, and plenty of sweetness. We thought she would end up with Olive and WIllow since Goldie loved her girls but she had other plans and after putting her with her brother Trigger next to the other horses, they all broke the fence through the night and well I woke up the next morning to all 6 of them grazing just fine together, no cuts or bruises so they all just wanted to be together. She instantly befriended Aspen who needed a good friend and that has helped her tremendously. She also fell for her lookalike Geronimo. You will see them grazing together a lot but she loves everyone. She has a spot she loves for you to scratch and if you hit, she makes the funniest faces then if you try to walk away, she backs right into you for you to keep scratching. It is so cute.
At the time of her rescue, she was estimated to be 23 years old.
